Complimentary transportation supports LEED Gold elements of recently-opened 122-room hotel
BALTIMORE (July 2, 2019) – The Cambria Hotel Arundel Mills-BWI Airport in Anne Arundel County, Maryland, which opened this year, integrates the use of Tesla Model X vehicles to ferry guests to nearby amenities including Arundel Mills Mall, Maryland Live and the airport as well as business appointments throughout the area. The complimentary service supports the Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design (LEED) Gold elements that have been designed into the 122-room hotel located at 7700 Milestone Parkway, to support the development team’s objective to operate the most eco-friendly hospitality project in the greater Baltimore-Washington, D.C. region. The project was developed and is owned by an affiliate of Bethesda, Maryland-based Somerset Construction Company and managed by White Marsh, Maryland-headquartered USA Management II, Inc.
This marks the fourth Cambria Hotel to open in the local region with existing locations including College Park, Rockville and Washington, D.C. In addition, four new Cambria Hotels are scheduled to be developed over the next several years in Baltimore City, Capital Heights, Ocean City and a second location in Washington, D.C.
